The D.A.R.N. is the newest form of disc retrieval. It is specifically designed for retrieving discs in high debris locations. The D.A.R.N's design allows it to lock onto discs while allowing it to let go of thorns, branches, roots, and vines. Its slim shape allows it to sneak into tight areas and reach discs that standard grabbing attachments struggle with. It can grab putters and super class-sized discs, such as but not limited to the Berg (Putter) and Zephyr (Super Class). The D.A.R.N. will mount to any extendable pole with a 5mm thread. We know that the D.A.R.N. will mount to both the Dynamic Discs Retrieving Pole, the Rogue Iron Retrieving Pole, and the MVP A.R.M. The D.A.R.N. is a Hyzer Technology product and is PATENT PENDING.

    • For the best results when retrieving approach the disc from the side. Position the disc in front of the D.A.R.N. Keep about an inch or 2 room between the D.A.R.N. and the disc and give a swift push forward. On some discs, you should be able to hear an audible click. This is confirmation that the disc is latched in. If you do not hear a click, there may be a chance that the disc did not fully seat in the D.A.R.N.
    • The D.A.R.N. works best when used on rigid discs and thin discs such as, but not limited to the Innova Champion Destroyer. However, the D.A.R.N. can retrieve many different molds of discs in a variety of plastics.
    • When attempting to retrieve discs make sure that the retaining tab on the inside of the D.A.R.N.'s jaws is positioned on the top of the disc's flight plate. If this is not done, it can cause the disc to not become entirely held by the D.A.R.N. Another way to check this is if the disc's flight plate is up then retrieve it with the D.A.R.N. text showing on top of the D.A.R.N. However, if the flight plate of the disc is down then flip the D.A.R.N. upside down so that you can't see D.A.R.N. inscribed on it.
    • When moving the D.A.R.N. through brush it is best to rotate the D.A.R.N. so that the vines, thorns, roots, branches, etc are less likely to be pushed into the retaining area.
    • The D.A.R.N. is designed to let go of most debris. For the best results when letting go of debris. Position the debris under the retaining tab where the disc locks in. Pull back on the D.A.R.N. with steady and increasing pressure until the debris is dislodged.
